How to Pack Light
Posted on August 4, 2010 · Leave a Comment
Hello Fountain Place! The struggling airline industry is beginning to notice a higher demand for their services. Although, a higher demand potentially means an opportunity for a higher profit or for at least some profit it also means higher prices. These higher prices will not necessarily put an end to the new fees consumers have seen added over the years. In fact, some airlines such as Spirit Air are finding ways to charge you more.
As airlines are adding more baggage fees consumers are being forced to pay up or pack lighter. I completely disagree with airlines charging for bags because I feel they recoup those costs in the ticket price. If airlines are looking for more ways to save and increase customers or revenue they should take a page from Wal-Mart’s book. Pass the savings onto to the customers. Instead of the airline industry paying third party travel sites such as Orbitz and Expedia for people booking tickets on those websites cut out the middle man. Most airline websites are already equipped to handle online ticket sales so they should stop paying third parties and start paying us, the consumer. Until then here are some tips I found on eHow for packing light.
- Bring a pair of black, brown, ad khaki pants.
- Bring one pair of shoes to match your pants.
- Pack shirts that can be dressed up or down.
- Always bring a pair of comfortable jeans.

A Walk Through the Zoo
Posted on July 30, 2010 · Leave a CommentHello Fountain Place! Living in Eden Prairie has a lot of great perks. Eden Prairie has great schools, a good community, and access to some really unique attractions.
One my favorite Minnesota attractions is the Minnesota Zoo. This zoo appeals to the young and old. You can see rare animals such as the American Bald Eagle to the Amur Leopard. You can also, see more common animals such as the cow, but with a spin on it…Have you ever seen a cow get milked. Well, maybe, but at the Minnesota Zoo you can watch and learn about the entire pasteurization of cheese process. In my opinion, the Minnesota Zoo has some of the most active animals. The last time I went to a zoo, which was about a year ago (I won’t name names, but it was out of state) all of the animals were a sleep. I can’t imagine that happening at the Minnesota Zoo. Watch a Live Footage of the Beaver Dam If you have not made it out to this great attraction you must add it to the list.
